Dr. Charuta holds an M.B.B.S. degree from BGS Global Institute of Medical Sciences, Bangalore. She has always had a passion for sexual wellness and has been an advocate for sexual and reproductive health since the beginning of her medical education. She was trained in sexual medicine and is currently a sexual medicine expert at Allo Health, India's first dedicated sexual health clinic. She is an active member of the health community and has served as the National Director of the Rotaract Club of Medicrew and Zonal Director of IMA MSN, Karnataka. She also volunteers at non-profits including Doctors For A Cause and online peer-education platform Sex Education India.
