She completed her post graduate training in ophthalmology from GMCH Chandigarh and has done her fellowship & training in Vitreo Retinal Surgery from the prestigious LVPEI Hyderabad , Dr. RP Centre AIIMS and NHS Hospital Trust, Wakefield U.K. She is a recipient of the P.K PANDEY gold medal, Mohan Lal gold medal (UPSOS), Best Graduate award and the prestigious A.C Aggarwal Trophy ( Delhi Ophthalmic Society), She has publications in indexed national and international journals. She has been faculty ,has conducted and moderated several scientific sessions in numerous national and international conferences Apart from practicing Vitreo Retina, she is also a proficient Phaco and Refractive Surgeon.
